Tplink HX220
If you have reset your router then you will need to follow the steps below.
If you are connecting by wifi then connect to the routers wifi network name and password as show on the base of the router, if you device says no internet continue , press yes, some apple devices will fail at this point and your will need to use a none apple device or laptop on a cable to the routers LAN port.
- Unplug the WAN /Internet cable from the hx220, then power off the hx220 and power back on.
- Visit http://tplinkwifi.net ( 192.168.88.1)
- Enter a new admin password , example : admin123
- Then follow the step-by-step instructions quick setup
- Select UK as the region
- Select internet router mode. Internet connection type: pppoe vlan no
the router will reboot
Log back in
7.Here you enter your PPPOE username and password as issued on your welcome email, click next (DO NOT enable vlan)
8. setup your wifi network name and password or leave default.
Connection test should follow and you can save the settings.
