Rather than paying for an expensive new private branch exchange (PBX), you can instead exchange your existing depreciated PBX for a new hosted IP PBX – conveniently located in our secure data centre via high speed internet connections. The remote PBX extension is always kept up to date and has all functionality built-in. The IP PBX can even communicate with your back office systems to enable more efficient communications with your customers and suppliers.

If your business has multiple branches, and if some of your staff work from home, each branch and homeworker can be provided with a dedicated IP telephone to connect them with your hosted IP PBX, enabling for your entire workforce to communicate for free. This method can also be used to make internal calls in large branch offices easier and more cost-effective.

If you need to make calls to fixed, mobile, and international numbers, any telecom provider can be used with your IP PBX. Our service is compatible with session initiation protocol (SIP) trunks, an international standard of voice and multimedia calls over the internet. However, given that a number of SIP trunk suppliers are currently offering better prices than the major telecom companies, our service enables you to enjoy the best of both worlds – free internal communication, and significantly less expensive external communication.

In addition to monthly fees, we may charge a £50.00 setup fee for some services. The I Need Broadband phone service is delivered over a virtual phone line via your broadband connection. To receive the service you will need a virtual telephone or line adapter (ATA). Plug your standard telephone or cordless phone in to the ATA, or deskphone in to your network, and it will act just the same as if you are using any land line based service. We also sell Business IP desk phones. These specialized phones look just like normal phones, but feature an RJ-45 Ethernet connector instead of a standard BT phone connector. They are thus able to connect directly to your router or network and incorporate all the necessary hardware and software to make IP calls. Business IP desk phones start from £75.00 If you want to make or receive more than one call at a time you will need to add a extra trunk line, i.e 1 x ext £3+ 1 x trunk£6 =£9 per month
